This year's show will feature over 50 dealers with an array including antique and vintage furniture, camp decor, oriental rugs, jewelry, hotel china, books, fine art, sporting goods, coins, and taxidermy.
Show Hours: Saturday, July 27, 10 am - 5 pm
Sunday, July 28, 10 am - 4 pm
Each year View holds the Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors, which is open to all artists working in water-based media. This includes transparent and opaque watercolors, acrylics, casein, egg tempera, gouache, and ink.Â
Come enjoy your favorite ice cream in a handmade bowl at Point Park, in the center of Old Forge across from the Old Forge Hardware Store. Local potters make these one-of-a-kind ceramic bowls in the Meyda Tiffany Lighting Creative Arts Wing at View. Be sure to arrive early!
There are many bowls and other ceramic pieces to choose from and plenty of ice cream and toppings at the ready. The pottery will have a range of prices depending upon the choice, from $10 to $25, which includes ice cream. If you choose not to purchase pottery, you may make a donation of $5 and receive an ice cream sundae.
This annual event benefits the View and has become a favorite destination for an afternoon ice cream treat with friends and family. Should it rain, the event will be moved to the Old Forge Fire Hall located next to Point Park.
