One of the most widely known hiking trails in the area is Bald Mountain – an intermediate course of about one mile. On your way to the top, stop at one of the viewpoints to snap a picture and to enjoy the atmosphere. When you’ve finally reached the summit, climb to the top of the fire tower to get the ultimate panoramic view. Black Bear Mountain is a slightly longer and slightly steeper hike between Inlet and Eagle Bay. There are a couple of different routes that you can take to get to the summit of Black Bear Mountain; the shortest being just under 2 miles and the longest being just over 3 miles. The summit opens up to a wide open area where you can sit and enjoy views of both the chain of lakes and the High Peaks. Lastly, if you’re looking for great photo taking opportunity, you’ll enjoy the summit of Rocky Mountain. Rocky Mountain is a steep half mile hike to a large open summit that looks out over 4th Lake. This hike offers some exceptional views and is great for those looking to explore for a little bit.
