McCauley Mountain in Old Forge:
McCauley Mountain, New York’s “best family mountain” for skiing, is also a haven for mountain bike enthusiasts, with 15 miles of professionally built trails. The total descent is 2,077 ft with a vertical drop over 600 ft. Maple Ridge Trail:
McCauley’s trails link to the MTB (mountain bike) network at Maple Ridge and nearby Nick’s Lake with free parking at the base of McCauley. Maple Ridge Trail is a moderate 5.1 mile out and back trail located in Old Forge with a forest setting. Maple Ridge Trail Map .pdf
TOBIE Trail:
The TOBIE Trail is a 16-mile recreational pathway connecting Thendara, Old Forge, Big Moose, Inlet and Eagle Bay. The pathway utilizes both paved and off-road sections, including an abandoned spur line from the Remsen-Lake Placid Rail Corridor running from the Adirondack Scenic Railroad Station in Thendara to the lakefront in Old Forge. Abanachee Loop:

Moss Lake to Bubb/Sis Lakes:
The trail is approximately 2.5 to 3 miles of doubletrack which loops around Moss Lake.

Fern Park:
Fern Park, located in Inlet, is a free recreation park located on Loomis Road, just off of South Shore Road. The park boasts a network of more than 20 miles of looping single track trails with lots of elevation changes. Town of Webb Trail System:
Between Old Forge and Eagle Bay, there is approximately 100 miles of trails, mostly part of the snowmobile trail system. They are generally easy, making it a great family fun ride. There are a few single-track trails that shoot off the main trail system. Black Fly Challenge:
If you’re looking for an adventurous bike race, then mark your calendar for the second Saturday in June for this legendary Adirondack race, whether you’re an amateur cyclist or seasoned mountain biker. The Black Fly Challenge is a 40-mile race from Inlet to Indian Lake with varying rugged terrain, which includes sand, dirt, and gravel.
