OLD FORGE, NY – The Adirondacks are synonymous with breathtaking views and those views really brighten up with the introduction of Autumn colors. The Adirondacks and Old Forge have long been renowned for their stunning mountain scenery and bright fall foliage this time of year, making it a prime travel and tourist destination. Colors which have been muted are now popping. Reds, golds and bright amber are dominant, with yellow and orange beginning to burst. Many trees are just beginning to change, so with minimum rain and wind the foliage season should extend through mid-October.

Halloween Celebrations at Old Forge Library (October 25)
- Halloween Party: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM. Decorate trick-or-treat bags, enjoy snacks, and dance to festive music.
- Halloween Grab n Go Bags: 10 AM – 4 PM. Available on October 25th and 26th.
Oktoberfest (October 26)
Prepare for an even more spectacular Oktoberfest this year with hay rides, delicious food and drinks, lively dancing, fabulous costumes, a variety of vendors, festive pumpkins, games, crafts, and much more. Haunted Halloween Party at VIEW (October 26, 7 PM)
