A chill in the air and a warmth in the spirit means there is no better way to celebrate the joys of Christmas than to venture north to the Adirondack communities of Old Forge and Inlet as they officially launch the Holiday season with Adirondack Christmas on main street Friday, November 24 thru Sunday the 26th.

In a long-standing tradition of community, area clubs, civic groups, and businesses have planned a celebration as only these communities can. Wrap yourself up in this celebration against the Adirondack peaks and forests and meet Santa’s reindeer and see his sleigh at Point Park.

Come eat breakfast with Santa at the Water’s Edge Inn! On Saturday and Sunday morning, enjoy a complimentary, hot breakfast before strolling around town to see the rest of the holiday fun.
Christmas past will be remembered as you and your family enjoy old-fashioned horse-drawn wagon rides before stepping into the future and marveling at the stunning displays in the light parade.
Bring your best voice and add it to the fun of caroling around the tree lightings as you mingle among the Moose River farm animals. Of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be happy to pose for a picture with you.
Additional venues are also available for your enjoyment. Including the Santa Express Train, holiday arts, and crafts at View. The Reindeer Run, a fun run for kids of all ages, takes you from the Goodsell Museum (Historical Association) to the busy corner. Keep your antlers on, the fun doesn’t stop there – enjoy half-price tickets to the special holiday 2 p.m. matinee at the Strand Theater and receive a free small popcorn for all Reindeer Run Participants.
